Privacy Policy

Last updated July 29, 2026. This policy explains what BreatheCove processes, why it is needed, and the choices available to you.

1. Overview

BreatheCove is a wellness self-help application. We process only the information needed to provide the website, optional accounts, content access, comments, contact messages, downloads, analytics, optional notifications, and subscriptions.

BreatheCove is not therapy, diagnosis, medical treatment, or emergency support. Safety information remains available without payment.

2. This website

This public website is informational. It does not accept payments, create app accounts, or use advertising cookies. Unless you disable website analytics, Google Analytics uses cookies or similar identifiers to measure page visits, engagement, referring sources, approximate location, and browser or device information. Advertising storage, ad personalisation, and Google Signals are disabled in the website configuration. BreatheCove does not send your name, email address, article searches, or app-account information to Google Analytics through this website. The hosting provider may also process basic technical request information—such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and time—to deliver and secure the site.

3. Information you provide

Optional account

If you create an account, Supabase Auth processes your email address and authentication information. When Google or Apple sign-in is available, those providers may share information such as your name, email, or profile image according to the permission you grant.

Comments and messages

If you post a comment or send a message through an available in-app feature, BreatheCove stores the text you submit together with the account and moderation information needed to operate the feature, respond, prevent abuse, and review reports. Anonymous display does not make the submission anonymous to BreatheCove’s internal systems.

4. Subscriptions and purchases

Optional Premium access may be offered through Google Play and the Apple App Store where the app and subscription are available. The relevant store processes payment. BreatheCove may store validated purchase identifiers, product identifier, platform, entitlement status, and entitlement dates so access can be unlocked and restored. BreatheCove does not receive or store your full payment-card details.

5. Usage and analytics

Website analytics are enabled by default so BreatheCove can understand daily visits and which public pages are useful. Google Analytics does not receive an app account, name, or email address from this website, but it may process pseudonymous identifiers, page activity, device or browser information, referring sources, and approximate location. You can disable or re-enable website analytics below; your choice is stored in your browser. When disabled, the Google Analytics tag is not loaded on future pages.

In the mobile app, anonymous use may update aggregate counters such as content opens, audio plays, completions, replays, and engaged time. Signed-in use may additionally store session duration, content engagement, app version, language, platform, and a country inferred from the device region. Raw search text is not stored in the current analytics design.

6. Information stored on your device

Saved items, recently played items, listening progress, preferences, and downloads may be stored locally on your device. If notifications are enabled, BreatheCove may store an Expo push token, device identifier, platform, app version, and permission or opt-in status so notifications can be delivered or disabled for that device.

7. Service providers

  • Supabase: database, authentication, storage, and server-side functions.
  • Google Analytics: optional website visit and engagement measurement after consent.
  • Google Play and Apple: app distribution, authentication where selected, and in-app purchase processing where offered.
  • Expo: application infrastructure and optional push-notification delivery.
  • Website hosting provider: delivery and security of this public website.

Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy practices.

8. Retention and deletion

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably needed to provide the relevant feature, maintain security and records, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, or enforce agreements. Signed-in users can request account deletion from Profile. Local device information can also be cleared from Profile or removed by uninstalling the app, subject to normal device and backup behavior.

9. Security

The app uses Supabase Row Level Security to restrict database access. The mobile app contains only the public client key. Privileged service credentials remain on server-side functions. No system can guarantee absolute security, but access controls and limited data collection reduce exposure.

10. Your choices

  • Use the public catalog without creating an account where available.
  • Disable or re-enable website analytics from this policy.
  • Choose whether to save items, download content, post comments, or enable notifications.
  • Disable notifications through the app and device settings.
  • Manage subscriptions through the relevant app store.
  • Delete your account or request access, correction, or deletion of eligible personal information.
