Urgent help and safety
Some moments need human help now.
BreatheCove cannot assess emergencies, diagnose symptoms, or keep you safe during a crisis.
Act now
If you may be in immediate danger
If you may harm yourself or someone else, cannot keep yourself safe, or are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency service or crisis service now. If possible, move toward another person or a safer place and tell someone you trust what is happening.
Emergency and crisis contact details differ by country. Use the official services where you are located; do not wait for a reply from BreatheCove.
Physical symptoms
Do not use anxiety content to rule out a medical emergency
Anxiety and panic can include strong physical sensations, but similar symptoms can have other causes. Seek urgent medical help for new, severe, rapidly worsening, or medically concerning symptoms—especially chest pain, severe breathing difficulty, fainting, sudden weakness, serious injury, confusion, or any symptom that makes you think something is seriously wrong.
A website cannot examine you or know your medical history. When you are unsure, contact an appropriate healthcare or emergency service.
Beyond self-help
When ongoing professional support may help
Consider speaking with a qualified mental-health or healthcare professional when anxiety, panic, stress, low mood, sleep problems, checking, avoidance, substance use, or distress is persistent, worsening, difficult to manage, or interfering with daily life. You do not need to wait until a problem becomes a crisis.
BreatheCove's limits
What this service can and cannot provide
BreatheCove offers pre-created wellness education and self-help tools. It does not provide therapy, diagnosis, medical advice, emergency monitoring, or a live crisis response. Messages sent through support are not continuously monitored and should never be used for urgent help.
